Mark M. Edmiston
Managing Director AdMedia Partners, Inc. Mark Edmiston has an extensive background in magazine publishing, electronic media and financial consulting. Edmiston is a managing director of AdMedia Partners, Inc. where he brokers media-related investments and acquisitions. Prior to joining AdMedia Partners, Inc., he was a principal and founder of The Jordan, Edmiston Group, an investment-banking firm for the publishing industry. He also served as vice-chairman/founding director of Gist Communications, Inc. in 1996. Previously, Edmiston led a management buyout and became CEO of TVSM, the nation's leading publisher of cable-television guides. A former president and CEO of Newsweek Inc. Edmiston also served as director of the Magazine Publishers Association of America for more than 10 years, and was an early director of America Online. Edmiston is a graduate of Wesleyan University. He is a director and advisor to several publishing and electronic media companies, a trustee-emeritus of Wesleyan and a trustee of the Children's Aid Society of New York and the vice chair of the board of trustees Community Services Society of New York. |
