Multimedia producer Lee-Sean Huang is an activist, writer, musician and multimedia producer. He currently works as a campaigner for Avaaz.org, an international, online advocacy group, where he leverages internet technology and new media to promote multi-issue progressive political campaigns in 12 languages. He is also a co-founder and an active member of Hepnova, a genre-defying band, multimedia production company, and modern lifestyle brand. Huang was born in Taiwan and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He received his B.A. in Government from Harvard University, where he was engaged in student activism. He also holds a diploma in Spanish Studies from the University of Barcelona and studied International Human Rights at Lund University in Sweden. For three years after gradation he lived in Japan, where he worked as an English teacher, translator and freelance writer while pursuing various musical endeavors. His writing and photography have appeared in various print and online publications, including The Arizona Republic, The Harvard Crimson, JapanVisitor.com, and the Japan National Tourist Organization’s travel blog.
