Daily Bread Productions, Inc.

Christiane Baker is the founder and president of Daily Bread Productions, Inc., an organization dedicated to using multiplatform media concepts to help change the way kids are eating in the United States.

Baker has been a television producer since 1994. She created, wrote and produced “A Day in the Life,” a national weekly program for CBS, and spent three years at Bloomberg L.P. as a writer and producer of several financial news programs including “Bloomberg Small Business” and the “Bloomberg Business Update.”  She was featured in Variety as one of the country’s top up and coming producers.

Prior to starting her own company, Baker spent more than 15 years developing and implementing communications programs for elected officials, nonprofit organizations and leading for-profit companies.

Baker, who is trained as a chef, researched and developed a 22-acre farm based on sustainable agricultural practices, and worked to preserve over 150 acres of farmland in conjunction with the Peconic Land Trust.  She sits on the Board of the Rodale Institute, an organization that pioneered organic farming.

Ms. Baker received a B.A. from Barnard College. She resides in Brooklyn, New York with her husband Bruce and daughter Chloe.
